Small Groups
Small groups at First United Methodist Church are communities of 5-15 people who meet regularly to help one another grow in the understanding of their faith, serve God and their neighbors, and perfect the practice of the love of Christ.
Some of the groups that meet in our community are:
A group of men and women who feel led to call on the members and attenders of our congregation to offer support, encouragement, and a listening ear. If you feel comfortable praying for people, or simply listening, you might just feel at home in this group.
Congregational Care Team
Groups of men and women who gather together to study scripture, seek God’s wisdom, and explore life’s deep questions. The only things required are a curious mind, an open heart, and a desire to read, reflect, and discuss.
Bible/Book Studies
A group of women who meet once a month to worship, share a brief program, and spend time together. The group typically meets the first Thursday of each month.
